Mission Statement: The Barrhead Public Library is dedicated to meeting the educational, recreational, cultural and information needs of all citizens.
The Barrhead Public Library has much to offer. In addition to the well-stocked collection, the library has a variety of programs such as story time, a book club, computer classes and travelling art exhibitions.
Library membership is open to all individuals residing in either the Town or County of Barrhead. Membership is good for one year from date of issue. At least one piece of identification when processing membership. To obtain a membership children under 18 must have a signed authorization from their legal guardian.
