LIFT Business Conference | Building Momentum for Local Business

Launched in 2024, the LIFT Business Conference has quickly become an annual highlight for entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community innovators across the Barrhead region. Presented in partnership with the County of Barrhead and Community Futures Yellowhead East (CFYE), the conference is a collaborative effort to strengthen our local economy through connection, knowledge, and shared growth.

Each year, LIFT brings together businesses of all sizes - from start-ups to long-standing mainstays—to explore new ideas, exchange expertise, and build relationships that spark innovation. The conference provides practical, Alberta-focused insight into real-world challenges faced by small and medium enterprises, including workforce retention, sustainable growth, and modern business systems.

Chamber of Commerce

The Barrhead & District Chamber of Commerce has been in operation for over 50 years. Their goal is to provide support for and a network for businesses in the community. Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month in the Charles Godberson Rotary Room at the Agrena at 12:00 noon.
