Recreation brings communities together. Shared experiences, fun, and learning boosts our appreciation for the place we live in. We are proud to incorporate scheduled programs alongside our many drop-in and leisure opportunities.
Be sure to check out the recreation directory as we have countless clubs, leagues, and groups have just the experience you are searching for.
Learning to swim is great exercise—it builds endurance and muscles at the same time. Being safe around water is a lifelong skill you can learn at any age. We offer aquatic programming to help keep our community safe in, on, and around the water. This includes the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life programs, Swim to Survive, and Advanced Aquatic programs. Our programs are for people of all ages and abilities – you’re never too young to start, and never too old to learn! Available Swimming Lessons.
Commitment is hard. With day-to-day surprises it’s often difficult to register for an ongoing class. We have drop-in experiences for adults and families, many of them free! Visit our Drop-In Programs page for class descriptions and be sure to watch the Recreation Calendar for the most current offerings.
