POSITION: Parks & Recreation Facility Custodian
Summary of Duties:
The Town of Barrhead is seeking a motivated and flexible individual to work approximately 30 to 40 hours per week/weekends, depending on facility schedules. Under the direction of the Agrena Supervisor, the Facility Custodian performs an array of janitorial duties. Building Custodians are responsible for keeping the Agrena facilities clean and sanitary for our members, the public and staff, including Agrena lobby, dressing rooms, spectator stands, and associated areas. The Facility Custodian prepares the Agrena for different rentals and may be required to assist with evening set up/take down of equipment. The Facility Custodian must be attentive to safe work practices and be diligent in operating equipment safely.
Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position with 30 - 40 hours per week including weekday and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness
- Provide a criminal record check,
- First Aid & CPR Certification is an asset
- Steel Toe Safety Boots,
- Work in a team setting as well as independently with minimum supervision,
- Have sufficient stamina and strength to do the requirements of the posting
Salary:
$17.50 - $18.50 per hour
